Hi all, The AutoSave Draft feature is now disabled across the site. The decision to disable the feature was made via a poll last year. The delay in putting it in place was due to a bug/update issue. This should serve as a reminder to manually save your drafts if you wish to keep them. Thanks, The Boards Team.

A radio in poor condition roughly 75 years old. Can anyone advise if there is anyone who might repair something like this and is in the Mid-west region.

Hope you don't mind my joining in, but I have an old electric clock (1940s at the latest), which I'd like to get rewired and going again for sentimental reasons, and I'd be interested in the answer too (I'm in the northwest, but that might not rule out using the same technician).

Ye olde hurdy hurdy vintage radio museum in howth may know someone. (See their website) Ideally put up make model, photo etc as there are specialists in various types and not much point giving it to someone who does not know it inside out and have spare parts etc.

It might be easier to buy working model online.
