    Hi everyone

I just recently bought a house and the electricity bill is in the previous owners name .Does anyone know what I would have to do to change the account into my name.Do I need the ring the esb or is it the electric provider .I have never had an account before with an electricity provider .Apologies for the simple question ??

A reading should have been done upon the final sale.

You simply call whatever supplier you choose and open an account with your details.

You will need the Mprn number and your bank details
