    Hi folks..

I hope to have a boiler installed shortly. I have to have some work done in advance..ie trench for pipework (about 12 feet) and build a plinth for the boiler..

    Q. Does plinth have to be any particular height . What depth should I have the trench for pipework.

Anything else I should pay attention to...

( I know installer will tell me but no harm to have some info myself )

    Thanks.

Trench for pipework and power. Who's installing the power and is it suitable?

Is the pipe to the oil tank in good condition and have suitable isolation valves?
