Mens leather pants in Dublin?

    Pants, not assless chaps.

Let's be crystal clear about that.

I just gotta see what they look like.

Went to a few different shops and they're no where to be found, probably a "specialist item".

Suggestions as to stores that stock/sell mens leather pants? Definitely not buying them online.

Historically, but I consider myself a trend setter, trail blazer, etc.

    .........

In any case I need to try them on first to see if they're acceptable or ridiculous.

    .......

There's got to be at least one decent store in Dublin that stocks these?

Get a flight to Germany, standard fashion item for all men.

There will be black, brown, tan and the sublime dark wine.

I have a few pairs, they look really cool and you will feel awesome wearing them.

When purchasing don't sweat it on length, most fitters will adjust them in Dublin.

For a good quality leather around € 150 and upwards. Avoid PVC, it is far too loud and looks cheap.

    Chaps are, by definition, assless.

Perhaps in some of the Adult entertainment stores on Capel Street.

Where exactly? Between the fetish DVD's and the dildo's?

    ......

I don't think those stores stock such things.

    I inquired in a shop.

Gal said try on the women's leather pants.

They're basically the same as mens.

    They're freaking awesome, lol.

    Way more comfortable than jeans.

Didn't get a chance to buy a pair as store was closing but in any case the headline is, leather pants to be found in Ireland!!

Just for posterity, I picked up a couple pairs of these.

One in H&M, legit mens leather pants.

    You sweat like crazy in them and look like one of the dudes from the Village People;

But they're still boss and absolutely the look I was going for (not ghey - as I've modified the conventional leather look with groovy sneakers and shirts).

And got a decent pair in Penny's also.

    .........

I'm also 50/50 on buying a third pair I saw in a woman's only shop. They were surprisingly cool about letting me browse and even use the fitting rooms (which I asked about with some apprehension, for obvious reasons).

But yeah, the occasional outlier aside, I'm quite impressed with the acquiescence and open mindedness shown to men perusing the women's department.

While I wouldn't call it standard fashion item over there its certainly acceptable but really only in a certain context.

I see a biggish guy with long hair a few tattoos a long sleeved t-shirt biker boots an open leather or jeans vest big stitched leather wallet in the arse pocket connected to a silver chain smoking rollies. In any other rconterxt we're kinda back into arseless chaps territory.

Or maybe if you're David Hasselhoff.

Can't really see leather pants thing working over here. Unless you're a world champion in the pulling looks off class but even then it will be a close call.

P.S. As it happens my brother is that guy - sort of. Has a nice motor bike with it too. He's got a pari of really cool leather pants. 5 pocket 501 style matt worn look. Defny not a chaps fella. I commented on them years back said they're kinda cool. What happened next was he gifted me a brand new pair for my next birthday (I was already living in Ireland). They are awesome, top quality, handmade, cost a fair bit too. But I could never wear them and they've been packed up in the attic ever since.

@ fritters - I wear Leather trousers over here on a regular basis. Saturday night stuff. I look fooooking awesome in them and feel like a sex machine.

Black Leather and a white cotton shirt, a pair of boots and you may as well be the ghost of Michael Hutchence. Birds go crazy for them, sitting onyour knee in the corner sliding away like no one is looking, it gets heavy.

I have a dark brown pair for formal parties such as afternoon barbecues, christenings etc. You can get away with a jet black or navy denim shirt with the brown leather. I am travelling to Munich before Easter for a nice pair of dark maroon/vino.

I wore the same pair of brown leathers topped with a black Calvin Klein sleeveless wife beater for over 48 hours last June. I was kicking pussy away from me.

    don't miss out.

    CD

    No no,

This guy wins boards, in fact he may win the internets in general for today.

To avoid the Village People appearance yes, it's all about the color coding. Black with white, wide white sneaker laces look boss with the black. Converse high tops (aka sneaker-boots).

None of what I've got so far is genuine leather. They're mostly coated or PVC, which is kind of trashy but hey, no harm no foul.

Let's face it, Dublin, I fit right in.

Just curious, what size are they?

If they're around 34 and skinny fit, I could be in the market.

Would have to check I think they're either 32 or 34 and not skinny but I remember them fairly tight. I'll go up there (attic) tomorrow and see if I can find them. I'd be delighted if I could find a good home for them.

Sorry for maybe getting hopes up but I checked all corners and boxes and I can't find them. She says she can't remember but I suspect my OH might have disposed of them some time ago (to make sure).

I have a pair, I wish to extend the length from the base of the cuffs.

How much could I expect to pay?

I would ring around and get the best quote.

Pay as much as you want.

What colour are they? If your initial adjustment was too much it won't be something you can reverse, sorry around that, you could be struggling to get the look you think you might feel more comfortable in?

Hopefully your tailor did a good job on their original pull up, they should have left a few inches as they would often have to deal with fusspots who constantly change their minds and haven't a bulls iota about fashion..? It is important to future proof your leathers, they get lets of action from people fascinated with how incredibly cool and sexy they look.

Don't be washing them all the time, it is good to get some of your more cultured pheromones onto the arsch cheeks along the barse line and of course your groin? I would often go commando for a few days to let the new pair get accustomed to your exclusive groin aroma. Trust me, if you are packing you will busy. I have often got a slamming on a night out.

If you made a hames of the original length adjust, it is a pity, but please listen carefully. under no circumstances should you even contemplate making shorts? A total disaster if you ask me, you don't want that? If you are going there, no more than knee height, you have a 50:50 chance of being mistaken for an Austrian retiree who has always paid early and is freerolling everything . Fish for compliments, it is great for meeting new people you can share your notions with, or your leathers Sugar Rush honey buns, wink wink?

If all that fails padrone, all well and good. You will only look slightly less sexy or attractive than you feel. You should feel great wearing leather under normal circumstances, it is an ancient authentic material worn for centuries, that is intrinsically admired by anyone who enjoys life.

Get a nice shiny black pair for Valentines ( EDIT i have never worn red leather outside of the privacy of my lair or perhaps in a sex dungeon I am enjoying with others) they should get your partner excited and getting laid more often is good for you, everyone needs a good ride now and then, it keeps you believing?
