I'm about to get stuck into restoring a 50's Aladdin Blue Flame paraffin heater, lovely looking thing and works (sort of lol)

It's body (think a simple section of steel pipe) and top hat are enamel coated in a lovely jade colour and it's a iconic defining feature of this paraffin heater from what I can see

online there's a few vids of lads restoring these devices and they strip/repaint them in various ways including the two enamelled parts I'm referring to

I wanted to see if it was possible at all to stay original and re-enamel the parts?

anyone out there ever done this or similar could advise me?

    thanks
