    Hi everyone,

I'm getting a solar system installed and wanted to install a hub as well but I can't seem to buy it on myenergy.ie anymore? Is it required? I've seen somewhere that app should handle it not but a bit confused. Web interface is showing my Zappy as offline and when I am trying to use mobile app it is asking me for SN and registration code that should be displayed on Zappy screan but i've followed the instructions where it says it should be but it has only SN on it? Any advice?

The new Eddi & Zappi both have the hub built in now. When did you get your zappi?

In terms of the code, you need to login to your account and generate a key. It used to be that you set a password for it and if you lost that you had to go through support, but now with the key its safer and you can reset if you need.

not completely understanding your message so can describe your setup..

is your Zappi the latest model with built-in wifi\ethernet?

have you tried restarting the Zappi (which should trigger it to get a registration code)

btw, have you checked myEnergi forum..

I think I figured it out... I think my zappy is 2.0 version vs 2.1 version judging by the serial number of the device... :( My only option is then installing eddie that has a hub inside. Is there a way to identify eddie which has hub vs the one that doesn't'?

The current model has a hub built in. I think you'd struggle to find any old models in stock. Buy from myenergi.ie to be safe. Other option is to buy a hub. I heard they'll have them available again soon.

My Energy site has great support info and will show you how to see if your model has the built in hub. The serial number identifies it, but I can't recall how to tell. And you can also download the firmware updates to the latest version. Might be on an old version now if is older stock. Again, their website will tell you how to do that.
