Through time perhaps this thread will bring a small bit of comfort to the families and friends of all those who died or have been injured and who are enduring untold heartache and grief. We just want to let them know that people here in Donegal and throughout the country and beyond are thinking of them and offering prayers.

On behalf of everyone at Boards.ie I extend heartfelt sympathy to all those who have been affected in any way.

A pal of mine is from the area, lives locally, and has been involved in an official capacity since the start. I presume he knows some if not all of the people involved.

I cannot begin to imagine how hard that must be.

Thoughts and condolences with all caught up in this, no matter how.

Awful news and a massive blow for the community there. May the memories of those who lost their lives there be a light in the darkness of the grief still to come.

I want to offer my condolences to all of the family, friends and colleagues of those who died in Friday's tragedy in Creeslough. It was a shocking and awful thing to happen and I think everyone in the country has felt it in some way but none more than those close to Creeslough. For those of you near to the tragedy in whatever way, please take care of yourselves and each other in the coming days, weeks and months.

    Niamh.
