So, in pub tonight (Dublin) not a bother getting the free pint. My mate, while there, downloaded, another free pint. Barman noted, they can't determine that you actually got a Bulmers - you could get any drink. Totally true. How can Bulmers (whatever company) determine what pint is put in front of you when you pay. No way of knowing. The virtual card works for whatever drink you order.

Note, for the clever people, I think there is a limit. Tried a double order of drinks and failed (€13). Just the one drink €6.70 Bulmers (cos I am honest) worked. I suspect a limit of €10. Other than that, your barman is the owner of moral duty here.
