    Hi,

I just wanted to add a bit of info in case people are looking for info and only can find discussions from 2020 or 2019.

Anyone who wants to add their own experience, I encourage you to add it in the comments.

    This is my experience.

I applied this year and was rejected.

I decided to appeal and eventually the appeal was allowed.

The time between my application for disability Allowance and getting the "appeal allowed" letter from the appeals office was about 5 months.

The time between sending an appeal to the appeals office and getting the "appeal allowed" letter was 4 months.

I then received my letter from the social welfare office confirming my payment and the same day I received the first payment.

The time between the appeal allowed letter and receiving my first payment was about 5 weeks.

The total time between application and receiving payment was about 6 months.
