    Hi all,

Im wanting to do more of the STAGS comps in midlands and so I want to upgrade my tikka t1x. It has a 16" barrel.

Option 1: Upgrade tikka to MDT xrs chassis.

    Option 2: Change to a Bergara b14r.

Option 3: Change to a CZ457, either varmint of LRP as Im left handed so MTR wont suit.

I also have a tikka 223 which is why I like the idea of keeping the tikka, but not bothered by changing either.

Anyone have any advice or thoughts?

    Thanks

Spend money on quality ammo, practice with what you have. Money better spent IMVHO

Unfortunately that's good advice! If I did have a few bob burning a hole in my pocket I'd go with Option 1.

First they came for the socialists...

Thanks lads, I have started using eley match, seems to be the best through the rifle that I've tried.

Option 1 was my go to, just wasn't sure if the 16" barrel was gonna be a bit of a hold back but I've had no problems so far.
