Be sure to buy an Inverter Generator if you want to power sensitive electronic equipment such TVs and computers. Don't go by the VA (Volt-Amp) Rating. Divide the VA rating by 2 to get a safe working Wattage rating. =========================================== Feel free to add your 2c worth to this post

The whole thing is a minefield when it comes to small generators and standby power for domestic
Doubt any sparks would bother with it
