    Hi,

Just wondering would anyone know the diameter of a sewer pipe in a house built in the 60's. I can see from opening the manhole in the driveway it is clay if that helps. Soil pipe from house is 4" which runs into the sewer. Thanks in advance.

It could be anything really from 4'' up to 30''.

Normally though the next one up from 4'' or 6'' would be 9''. If you can see that it's clay can you not see the diameter?

Thanks for the reply. Its probably 1.5 metres down and I didn't fancy jumping down. Ended up taping a 5" piece of wood to a broom handle, wouldn't fit in so I'm fairly sure its 4". Thanks
