AMIKO COMBO BOX QUERY.

Combo box has two leads coming in from the splitter. One seems to be for the saorview function and the other the satellite.

Noticed recently that satellite connector cable is a bit loose and some channels will not appear. I tightened the connector but it still seems a bit random.

    Q. Should the braid on the outer side of the co-ax cable be in contact with the outer side of the co-ax plug or are they supposed to be isolated from each other ?

Braid should be in contact with the metal part of the f-connector but separated from the inner core wire. Lots of videos online showing you how to make the connection.

Missing channels could also mean a retune is required.
