Cheap Heat Pumps any good?

I don't have a cheap heat pump, but I would expect huge variability in terms of quality (both in performance and longevity). If you are considering putting one in, check and see if there are issues with getting it serviced and with availability of spares.

A lot of things are Chinese made, including most of the devices we are communicating on.

Now, if it's cheap then there is probably a catch or 2 or 3.

They could be good for a dual system to see how they cost to run.

How could you possibly go wrong with a thermonuclear heat exchanger? Isn't that what we all want?

It's cloud nuclear though. I prefer my nuclear heat exchangers to have local control.
