Favorite scene, moment, catch-phrase from any of the Grand Theft Auto games?

I think the popularity of this game revolves around the controlable character being able to do whatever they want like hit random people and steal their property.

It's not that degeneracy and criminality innately appeals to GTA fans, but that concept kind of facilitates this sense of emotional-expression we're deprived of day-to-day.

Like we see someone we don't like and wish we could physically engage them etc., but have to suppress that impetus so as not to be uncivilized, GTA allows us to indulge ourselves in that sense a little.

Feels Good Man.

There are several scenes but one that really worked for me was GTA 4, Ballad of Ghey Toney sub-game.

I thought this scene was portrayed expertly.

It was the use of the native cuss word that really had me rolling:

"Putaaaaaaaaaaa!!".

I've actually since incorporated this as a cuss word into my own cuss repertoire.

A couple from the radio in GTAIII still pop into my head over 20 years later.

The caller saying to Lazlow: "As a mother and a fireman..."

And a few phrases from the Dormitron ad: "I've had my mouth sewn up, my hands chopped off", "bio-rhythmic-subconscious-gymnastics"

This came to mind. The English add-on for GTA2.
