Should the Irish government buy up some Romanian apartments (at under €100k and use them to house Ukranians? They could even gift them to them and it would be cost neutral after 18 months assuming 2 people to the apartment (mother and child for instance).

The EU will be paying for them don't worry about the cost to the state.
