    From what I understand for every 1,000 refugees who will be accommodated by the State in a hotel, it’ll cost about €33 million per year. That would be €33k per annum per person. Should the Irish government buy up some Romanian apartments (at under €100k and use them to house Ukranians? They could even gift them to them and it would be cost neutral after 18 months assuming 2 people to the apartment (mother and child for instance).
