    Hi,

I see Lidl have a basic inverter welder coming up, I think maybe once or twice a year I think yes I need to join two peices of metal and thats about it. But when you need to , you need to. I have zero experience with welding and know nothing about it.

    1) Can I just plug it into any outlet?

    2) Is such a thing useful, any recommendations?

    1. Yes

    2. Limited uses only, light welding and tacking, I wouldn't be using it long term or on heavy applications
