Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A work colleague done this with a 92 Celica recently (Last June) so im only going on his experience

He bought the car in a non running condition and fixed it up - He went in to the VRT office in Ballinasloe and without going into any specifics asked their take on it. He said he was only considering buying the car and if it was too much hassle he would leave it off.

The VRT told him what they needed as a minimum and he went back with the car and what they needed - All went without any hassle

Check the plate on the DVLA website - It might be listed as exported. If it is then happy days if it isnt the VRT might say that you brought the car from the UK

If you find somebody sound then make the appointment with them and only them. Dont just make a random appointment and come up as this will end in tears.

Dont take hearsay as gospel and get it straight from the horses mouth

Like us all the VRT just don't need the hassle so do your homework to make it as painless as possible.
