I am replacing the injector seals on a friends 2009 Volvo S40. 1.6 dsl. (D4164T)

I am hoping that someone on the forum familiar with Volvo (PSA/Ford) could advise me on

    (a) do the studs and nuts holding the clamps need to be replaced ?

    (b) what torque/angle should be used to tighten the nuts onto the clamps?

Any help greatly appreciated as I am finding it difficult to get satisfactory info on line.

Pre tighten to 5-9 NM then turn it 85 degrees . THats the torque spec

I do torque them properly . So i wouldnt say no one does .

    Thanks for replies.

Injectors back in place and car running fine.

I didn't have a torque wrench reading that low so I guessed the torque and then 85 degs.

However there is still fuel leaking - and having read through a lot of various posts it appears there is also a seal where the solenoid is attached to the injector. As the tops of the injectors where the leak off pipes are attached are bone dry these seals further down appear to be the only possible cause of the leak.

Are these seals available on their own - or is replacing them even possible by a DIYer.

    Any help appreciated .
