Siegenia Tilt and Turn Window Not Sealing

    Hi all,

I have a Siegenia tilt and turn window in my bedroom and since I moved into the room, the window lets in a lot of noise from the road outside compared to the other rooms in the flat.

I have tried adjusting the seal on the window through the rotating nuts on the tilt lock but on further investigation, the nut at the top of the window isn't fulling locking against the striker on the frame.

I tried adjusting the position of the striker so that it would be a bit lower and make better contact but the head on the hex screw that tightens the screw to the frame is stripped.

I've tried moving it by grabbing it with a lock pliers and hitting it with a hammer but its simply screwed too tight.

I've linked to some photos of the striker if anyone has any ideas on how to adjust it.

I would really like to get a proper seal on this window, especially before heading into winter and losing a load of heat through it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

If you google how to adjust the window up then the lock will be inline with the sticker. There should be a hinge on the bottom of the window and an allen key.if that doesn't sort the issue the glass may need to be toe and heeled
