Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The greatest fictional villains think they're heroes of their own story. This was why DS9 had, IMO, the best villains with Dukat and Winn both of whom believed in themselves and their purpose. And Fletcher absolutely knocked it out of the park every time she was onscreen; totally duplicitous but also often charming too in her performances.

    Great actress in DS9. Played the role as Kai absolutely brilliantly.

    She was detestable and would make your skin crawl. Takes a great actor to truely play that role.


    Dukat was outstanding but a much easier role to play, I feel. He always had barely concealed menace and drama. Winn was far more insidious

    Yes I too hated Kai Winn but Louise-Fletcher played her brilliantly as said above its not easy to play a character that people will hate. She could very well have been played by a terrible actor and maybe being killed of early in DS9s story and forgotten about.

    Every time she said "... my child" in that way Fletcher did. You just wanted to yell at the screen. Fantastic performance every time.
