    Hello

My partner was privately paid by her school but this year she was switched to public pay . She was told by her principal that she would not lose out on any money while transfer happening . Anyway she got paid this week and her net wages were well below usual , she rang department and they are still processing her years of service. They will backpay the money she has lost .

My question is will she not lose out in end if she gets this backpay in a lump sum due to tax ?

    Pat
