Wall Hung Toilet Frame - partition wall depth allowed

Hi everyone,

Building a bathroom downstairs which will have a new partition wall. We want to keep the wall as narrow as possible, due to limitations of space, however we want to put a wall hung toilet frame in that partition wall. What is the narrowest frame and depth of a partition wall is acceptable?

Looking at the Acla Slim Wall hung frames 1175 x 570mm 1200 Slimline Model. Would anyone know if we could get away with a 15-16cm depth plasterboard wall or would we have to make it 20cm?

a few months ago I installed this in wall cistern.

I left 17cm for total wall thinness with plenty space left to spare.

Cistern depth is 12cm, 15-16cm inner wall should work just fine.

I would recommend to buy a good brand where you can be sure there will be parts for sale in the future.

Thanks for answering the question. That's great to know that you did a 17cm wall depth with the 12cm frame. We have allowed for 16cm which definitely should be enough for us to get 4" waste pipe and a slim frame.
