Rainy Tenerife - Things to do?

Heading to Tenerife tomorrow for 11 days. Forecast is a little patchy and rainy a few of the days so have rented a car to make getting about easier. Any suggestions of things to do if the rain really settles in for a day or two would be great. I'm fairly fit and active but also enjoy museums, cultural experiences etc.…
