Sorry if this is a stupid question but ive no clue,

My 2016 cla 1.6 mercedes is completely dead

Ive tried jump starting but it won't start,

I don't know if it is the battery, starter motor or any other issue

It was starting during the week but was taking a few ticks to start so i thought the battery was on the way out and rang a place today with the intention of picking it up tomorrow,

But i went to start the car this evening and its completely dead

Would mechanics do call outs and be able to diagnose the problem?

I'm living about 10 minutes from Blackpool

What type of car did you use to jump start it, it may not have had enough power to do the job?

Check your insurance policy, if you have breakdown cover they'll organise a tow truck to bring it to a garage for you.

Google ‘Mobile Mechanic Cork’, there are a few options.

It probably just needs a jump start from a proper booster pack, and a new battery.

Yeah, might not be enough in the Q2 to do it if your battery is fecked, or your cables could be crappy. I recall having similar many years ago with a Corolla and trying to jump it from an Astra and nothing happened. The mechanic rocked up with his cables and his 2 litre Merc and jumped it no problem.
