Hi, I pre ordered FIFA 23 for my sons birthday. I know the release date is not until the 27th but he seems to think that for 22 he could see the pre order on he logged into the console but he cant see anything for 23. I have checked my emails and can see my pre order confirmation email sating that the order has been received and we will receive a separate purchase email closer to the date. He has my head wrecked stressing that there is something wrong and he wont get it because its not showing so can someone please help a mother out and tell me that all is ok and he will see it on the day....... thank you

You say that you checked "your confirmation emails", all well and good if he uses your email for his log in on his PS.

If he has his own account on the PS he won't see FIFA 23 that you purchased on your account.

Go to FIFA 23 on his profile and it should say "purchased" in the bottom left, see below for example.

There are also different versions of FIFA 23, check both.

Im nearly sure at the time we ordered the game through the actual playstation account so presume it would be linked to whatever he uses to log in with. I'll get him to check his profile like above as soon as he gets home, fingers crossed. Thanks a mil

He logged into the Store and he cants see anywhere that it was purchased, money was definitely taken for it. Is there anyway to contact them

Did you purchase it through the Playstation Store on the actual console? If so then it should say purchased or sometimes I find it says unavailable. If you click in to the actual game it should have a timer to when the game unlocks

Also, there's a few different versions (Standard/Ultimate) so maybe make sure he's checking the right one but in my experience it should say purchased/unavailable for both

If you purchased it on the Playstation Store online on your computer/phone then I'm not sure how that works... I'd assume it would ask you to login or connect the Playstation account.

Log into the PS with the email/password that has the confirmation email.

Should be there.

also, is there any point in upgrading from fifa 2022 since i only ever do online seasons, prob not much difference? (i ask this every year and bought the latest version since 2000 so i dont even know why i bother ha)

FIFA 23 has cross-play, if that's a feature that'd be useful to you.
