Redundancy payment

Hi. I am just wondering if there is any issue giving our employee ex gratia payment which would be no higher than the basic exemption which is €10k plus €765 per year of service in addition to her statutory redundancy.

She is over 3 years in the company. she received statutory redundancy only in her last job which was before joining us whether that makes any difference which I don't think it does?

from the guidance I can see for revenue online it appears as if she would be entitled to her statutory redundancy and the basic exemption limit if we were to offer some ex gratia payment?

can anybody confirm if there is any issue or is the above accurate?

    Thanks
