Hi, does anyone have experience with changing phones and the EBS authenticator?

Can see an option to "unpair device" once logged in on the portal, but what happens then? Can you immediately add a new device, does that generate a code to add to your new device?

Don't want to end up without any access, thanks!

You will need a code which EBS will send you in a paper letter. I believe the proper way to do this is to phone EBS to get a new code before you get your hands on the new phone. The old phone will still work until you setup the new phone with the new code.

So a week or so before you get the new phone, ring them and ask for a new code. The code they will send you has a shelf life of about a month. As soon as you setup the new phone, the old phone will no longer receive the message to appprove the login to your EBS account.
