Expansion pipe dripping

    Hi

My parents' house has oil central heating (used to have a back boiler with a range also but that's gone now) and outside, there's a pipe in the soffet coming from a tank in the attic. I understood that this was an "expansion" pipe but I could be completely wrong on that; it used to drip occasionally but recently there's an almost constant flow from it (see attached video).

Any ideas on what I need to check here? Is it likely to just need a replacement ball cock or something more than that?

    Thanks

Most likely just a ball cock. Could be something else, but thats the place to look first.

Could be 2 tanks in the attic also.
