Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Too easy for violent criminals to set up channels on YouTube to contest their convictions

Right now in 2022 a violent criminal can set up their own YouTube channel and as many videos as they want protesting their innocence with ridiculous explanations on their conviction by a judge in both Irish contexts and international contexts. It would be comparatively easier for YouTube to do a bit more to check out the validity of the claims made by these felons that resources I have at my disposal.

Makes YouTube feel that bit more manky at the moment. Any thoughts?

Its up to the courts to decide not YouTube admins.

How would youtube check out the validity of the claims made in the videos?

Sammy the bull Gravano has a youtube channel and he killed 19 people. Kind of weird looking at a guy who killed more people than a lot of serial killers just chatting away with people on youtube.

You could say the same about Bush/Blair killing Iraqis. Some think they are responsible for mass killing of Iraqis, while others thing they are great.

If people want to watch them its up to there personal choice.

Not really the same thing, no. Didn't say it's not their personal choice either.
