Solid Ash floor sanding to remove gouges

Got the folks a new sofa set last week and noticed the old one had protruding nails on the feet and put some deep scratches/gouges over the years. Would a sander bring these out , the floor is solid Ash and down about 15 years i'd say.

Yes you could sand them out

1
