Accounting credits Teaching council

    Hi all,

I am short 25 credits for Accounting with the Teaching Council. This is from my undergrad Business degree. I plan on getting these this year and starting my PME next year.

I have sat professional Accounting exams ( CPA) . I passed one subject , Auditing. I am wondering will this count towards my credits. I have spoke to CPA and they have said they don't really deal with credits. However, on ACCA's website (another Accounting body) it says this exam is worth 20 credits. If this was true I'd only be short 5 credits which would save a lot of time and money!

Any help would be really appreciated.
