Which AC/Heat Pump System to choose in new build?

    So we are in the process of buying a holiday/retirement home in Lithuania, and will be installing a heat pump system to deal with heating in winter, and cooling in summer. In my experience in Lithuania, winters can be cold, with temps of -10C - -15C not uncommon, and summers can be hot 30+C if you are lucky... We have already had the piping & wiring installed in the house as it was an option we took while under construction, so it would literally be a plug and play set up.

    We've been offered a selection of systems in varying price, and just wondering which one we should go for... Gree, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung & Daiken... As we'll not be there all the time remote operability will be essential, particularly in winter when we would need to keep the place warm, so based on the systems below, we might be limited to the Gree or Samsung systems, as they appear to have Wi-Fi functionality in them, though not sure if this can be added to the Mitsubishi or Daiken systems?

    Me personally I would have went for the Mitsubishi as it's a brand I know and see pretty much everywhere as they appear to be one of the big players in the AC game.. next in line maybe Samsung as again, a fairly reputable brand.

    Can anyone offer advice on any systems from any of the manufacturers below? pro's/cons? Gree seem to be well regarded online but not sure if that's just bull crap as they are the cheapest option!

    I'll list them by price (total price (€) in bold)

    Gree (8.5kW);

    Mitsubishi Electric (8kW);

    Samsung (10kW);

    Daiken (8kW);

    The house is 69m2 total (excluding externally accessed utility room), and layout of the internal blower units is below, but I'm not really sure on system sizes.. I presume teh systems are all sized to fit the requirements, but there's a 2kW difference in the Mitsubishi/Daiken units to the Samsung unit... so would the 8-8.5kW suit, or would a 10kW be a more prudent option?

    It's also worth pointing out that the house is coming with about a ~6kW PV system, so I wouldn't be too concerned about power consumption in the summer when using AC, but in winter, I'd be looking for fairly decent economy when heating, and the pv produces very little..

    Would greatly appreciate any tips or advice anyone in the know could offer.

    I don't know anything about the ones listed

    I have an LG mini split system. I can assure you that the AC is very reasonable to run. AC can be expensive in hot countries where you would leave the AC on 24/7 but you won't have this problem. Heating with a heat pump is cheaper than heating with gas or oil assuming your insulation is up to a high standard.

    Id have thought that all mini split systems would be smart by now. My LG is on the cheaper end of the scale but it works with Google home, Alexa etc.

    We have a Mitsubishi heat pump and and addon can be purchased I think is was 120 euros to add wifi/remote access to it. Its a simple plug and play small box.

    Extremely happy with the Mitsubishi.
