Boiler continues to be active after control is off

Hi all, Just moved into a new (older) home. My issue is that after I put an hour boost on and it finished the boiler still has the hot water light flashing and I can hear water being pumped through. See picture. Any advice very welcome.

Is it the LED on the boiler with the ladder label that is flashing? and is it a green flash?. If it is, can you count the number of rapid flashes, there should then be a pause and the same number of rapid flashes will repeat.

apologies for the late responce, I have not been in the house for a while as its in refurb mode. It looks to be a single flash with a long green pause rather than a series of rapid flashes.
