Pre Booking Seats

    Hi all,

A silly question, but during booking I didn't pre-book any seats with Aer Lingus. I presume when I check-in online closer to departure I will be able to select a seat then. Will I encounter any issues at that point? I am travelling alone and I am not particularly fussy about what seat I get.

    Thank you

Depending on where you are traveling to you can check in 48 hours prior on European flights and choose your seat for US it's 24 hours. Shouldn't be any issues specially as you're not fussy where you sit !

I could be mistaken, but I think it will assign you a seat when you check-in rather than give you the option to pick a seat. If you are not fussy or don't have a preference then it's grand you can just check in as normal.

I think you're mistaken ! I did it twice in the last week and could pick my seat. Obviously it would depend on how busy the flight is. Also worth noting that seats are never guaranteed - they're just requests.
