Guys just wondering would any one know how increments work. I worked in the civil service for about 9 years along time ago. Would I be entitled to any increments now that I've joined the civil service again. Very different roles now.

I know when I started in the CS, I had to get a document, I think it was a record of my previous service, and I started on a point on the scale which reflected my previous experience. This is the relevant circular - I think.... https://circulars.gov.ie/pdf/circular/finance/2007/40.pdf

Contact the PAS and ask them. I always found them very helpful.
