Fill window vents

Has anyone filled window trickle vents with expanding foam before? I have them all closed in the house (built 2 years ago) and do not open them. On windy days there is a draft coming in and they even whistle at times. I just want to seal them up

    Very bad idea.

    You'll end up with mould.

I keep the windows vents closed all year round. In the house nearly 18 months and no mould anywhere

But you said there is a draught coming in, even though the vents are closed?

This is circulating air and keeping the room ventilated.

Assuming you have other vents in the room (e.g. wall vents), you could just seal around the trickle vents on the windows with clear silicone. That way you could easily remove it if you ever want to open them again.

Do not seal them if there are no other vents in the room of course.
