Sewer pipe query

    Hi All

Could someone give guidance on the below please.

Neighbour laid a pipe from house (under construction) to effluent treatment tank and at one point it goes right up to my hedge to the extent

that they dug about a foot inside my boundary clipping the roots off a couple of my beech plants. Site boundary is to the right of the hedge shown

on the attached. Should I protest or are they just setting themselves up for a bit of hardship down the line when/if the roots grow into the pipe and choke it up?

I assume I would not be affected too much or would I? Don't ask me why they didn't lay in a straight line 😐️

    Thanks in advance.

You would wonder why they didn't go direct to the tank. I wouldn't be letting anyone did inside my boundary especially without permission.

Have they a patio or planning one or a shed that they took that route?

Could it be to do with an obstacle of solid rock or perhaps some other obstruction under the ground? Seems odd otherwise if the land is totally level otherwise.

Where is the boundary on the land registry map?

If it shows the pipe is inside your property tell them to remove it or you will.

Turns out its a control box they are fitting over near the hedge. It needs to be out of the way. It will not impede on boundary.

    So should be grand
