Cartel-like behaviour

All the big power companies wheeling out their price increase carts at roughly the same time All bringing in their new prices from 1 October All charging exit fees. Surely this is anti-competitive behaviour, as though the bigwigs all met up at the K-Club one day and decided "this is how we're going to do it, haw haw haw"…

Any point in complaining them to CCPC or will they just redirect you to the CRU who are at best case asleep at the wheel, or at worst complicit in the whole thing?

AFAIK it's somewhat down to the timing of informing the regulator of price increases; perhaps they're only allowed to raise prices at the start of a new quarter, and need to give four weeks notice?
