Camera For Lambing Shed

Well lads,

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for cameras for a lambing. My father brought up the idea of them ages back and we never acted on it, So i just said ill buy them now and get them installed and be over with it.

Only real request is that my father wants to be able to view the cameras from his phone.

So if anyone has a camera setup installed please let me know where I can go looking about getting one,

I installed the agri camera this spring after several years of diy cameras. Cost about 1100 incl vat and installation. Good job

Looking for same, and a low cost option if possible as only have a small few for lambing. Would below be any good, seems great value and easy install, just do not know does it take a sim card, as shed is out of houses wifi range.

Reolink are great cameras and have a great app. I installed one myself last year I got the PTZ 5mp camera can move around and zoom the whole shed. Our slatted shed is 100m away from house so I bought radio links bridge kits to send the signal down to the shed. Now I actually have 50mb WiFi in the shed as well and I plan on using more of the cheaper Reolink woo cameras to place in our lambing/calving shed beside slatted shed.

Done this myself and between camera and radio links cost about 400 euro. Radio CPEs are relatively cheap too and easy set up loads of YouTube videos on the different brands

Just buy a sim camera, I top mine up for the month of lambing. Great job & bought for less than €200

That’s the one I bought. It’s out of stock but I’m sure you can purchase similar

I have a Reolink GO PT in a 40x45 shed, I'd say avoid it for a lambing camera as I don't think the resolution and zoom is up to the detail needed.
