    Hello,

it’s a new build and I have asked for a heated towel rail instead of a small radiator in the ensuite. I’ve been told it will cost an extra 350,00 plus VAT! This doesn’t sound right to me…. I questioned it and was told the fittings are different. Can anyone in the trade comment please. Thanks,

    fittings should be no different,

call them out on it and get them to show you the difference.

Is he thinking of an electrical towel rail ?

Electrical supply to the bathroom is the difficulty. Most builders dont know whats allowed.

Have a quiet word with the site sparks, get him to run a feed. can be left hidden behind plaster, you can upgrade easily afterwards.
