Hi, apologies if this has been discussed before but couldn't fine a thread on it recently.

I'm a qualified Electrician but not registered with reci, I work in industrial maintenance. I'll be building my own house next year all going well. I want to wire it myself to save some money etc, I'm just wondering if it's possible to self certify to get the esb connection, or would I have to pay someone to do it, which would be fine too if this is the done thing in these situations?

Any advice or help on this would be great.

    Thanks
