Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Renault Espace Mk3 - 2002

Hi, looking for a mechanic in the Cork who has worked on Renault Espace 1999-2003. I have had enough of people who are willing to keep changing parts until the fault is cleared or I run out of money. A fault indicator comes up on the screen and the logbook says it is an ignition problem - electronic - and now it will only run at low speed. I looked it up and the low speed is called 'limp mode.' It is a diesel and it has been in storage for years, only 89K on the clock. Immaculate and I'd like to have it running properly. Any leads appreciated. THANKS.

TBH dude unless you know a Renault mechanic that's all anyone can or will do. Sometimes you get lucky but an old Renault with an as yet undiagnosed ignition issue won't be high on anyone's list of jobs to take on.

I expect so but if you ever had an Espace, especially the older ones -- incredible to drive - fibreglass body, low centre of gravity, easy on diesel - I have often driven 600 miles in a day in it when I lived in France - great car. It seems to me it is hard to get a mechanic who can diagnose a fault without a computer. Tkare
