What are the current rules for visits to someone approaching the end of life in a Nursing Home?

I know it’s 2 people at on but can there be two people there at all times towards the end of life? Also can there be more than two immediate relatives present in the persons last hours when that approaches?

You would be way better to contact the nursing home in question, they probably are working on a case by case situation.

I was in hospital recently and while they were technically not allowing visitors, occasional close people bringing in clothing etc or individuals for people who were seriously ill were being permitted.

She died very quietly this morning in between shifts when there was nobody there.

The home were great, they didn’t care how long we were there as long as there was only 2 at a time
