Is it just me or is it essentially impossible to get lessons and even when you do attempting to marry them with the current state of the driving test system proves incredibly difficult. I’m an older learner and have a full time job so it’s proving beyond difficult to get it sorted.

It’s difficult to get insurance cover for a learner to practice. We had to switch to Aviva in advance, and take their package of 12 lessons plus six months insurance cover.

I got my learner permit in Dec 2021. Was on the waiting list for my instructor until May 2022. Had a chat with him recently and he said he is working without a day off to shorten the waiting list. But yeah I am not sure if I should pay RSA in advance and be on the waiting list for the driving test before completing my EDT. I am almost certain that the waiting time for an exam time slot is just as long as learner lessons.
