    Hi everyone

I'm looking for reviews on Stena Lines plus lounge. Is it worth the extra 20 quid for it

I ask because I travel to an event every couple of years in the U.K . The last couple of times on the journey back(Sunday night) the ferry was swamped with day trip football fans. Mostly kids about 8-12 years old. They have ran absolute riot on the ferry and not a place aboard the ship to hide from what can only be described as mini thuggery while their doting parents turn a blind eye/ don't give two sh1tes what little Drake and Mason get up to. No sign of Staff either

I'd pay it in a heartbeat if I thought it would make for a more peaceful crossing

Many years ago I traveled to/from Holyhead every month or so. (Sales manager and loads of samples)

Always got the club lounge. It was £10 back then.

    Worth every penny.

I know someone who does the trip regularly at present and she goes for the club lounge too.

Young children are not permitted and if it's still the same as before you will have some snacks and tea/coffee and possibly other drinks available

It's very quiet, people actually whisper ! But I found the seats so uncomfy that I wouldn't bother again.

For a few euro more you can book a cabin. Someone suggested we might do that on our crossing last month and it was the best advice ever. Take your own coffee, lie down and snooze in total peace.

Agree on the cabin, great peace and usually cheap enough.

Used both a cabin and the lounge. Preferred the lounge myself.
