Couldn't find a thread for this so I'm gonna get one going because Its a cracking film. I went to see it yesterday with zero to negative expectations and was very pleasantly surprised. Its been done before for sure, but this gets stuck in from the get go, theres no let up in the pace to the end and its never boring. Idris is excellent as is Sharlto coply, who kind of steals the movie. The girls are a bit annoying but thats a minor gripe. You could do a lot worse and its far better than the low to mediocre reviews give it credit for.

Saw this today & thought it was a pretty decent film with a bit of eye candy. It kind of reminded me of Cujo. Plenty of action in it & not too long either.

It's decent. As a story, it's fairly bland stuff. As a spectacle, it's much better. Some lovely shots of the Sahara and some of the sequences with the lion are very well done. Ending is a bit hammed together but it's just about worth the trip IMO.

Forgot this was due out. Love an oul' creature feature so want to see this. How bad/decent is the CGI?
