New car. Start me off with the right stuff

First time posting in this sub-forum. I'm a typical auto-wash type, but I am picking up a new car in 2 weeks and want to keep it clean without destroying it in the autowash.

I considered PPF, but it's just too expensive. Will likely get a ceramic coat done right after collecting the car and probably rear tints too. North Dublin recommendations welcome.

So, after getting the ceramic done, what kit and products would you guys recommend for me?

Bear in mind that I would be washing the car every 2-3 weeks and would be open to a valet/detail every few months to keep on top of it. Products that are spray on and rinse off are preferable due to back trouble (and general laziness 🤣), but I will put in some elbow grease where necessary.

I have a karcher pressure washer which I use for the back garden. I think their snowfoam attachments do a poor job, so I would love a suggestion there...maybe change out the hose?

    What else do I need?

The wheels have hubcaps, so I don't think I need anything special for cleaning those. Glass roof also.

Buy a good quality snowfoam lance like autoglym, mjjc etc. Snowfoam from a brand like bilt hamber,Gtechniq,Gyeon and likewise a shampoo from similar brands with no wax in it. I'm a massive fan of Gyeon wet coat as a spray and rinse product. The detailer doing the coating should give you all the after care advice you need with brands to use, techniques, equipment and all that

I'm not very in depth with cleaning and keep everything simple so can't comment on what's best but in my experience using a clay bar on the windscreen and wing mirrors really brings out the clarity in the glass, you could do something similar on the roof if you wanted.

Even with hubcaps, Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel is amazing spray on, rinse off wheel cleaner. Gets all the caked on brake dust off the wheels without having to go near them with a brush. I spray it on, foam the car then rinse everything off. Really cuts down on time and saves your back from having to spend time bent down or sitting on the ground cleaning wheels.
