Trellis for new build wall

Hi,

I'm looking to install a trellis along our wall in a new estate for added privacy:

Our wall is one side of the entrance to the estate, and the road passing the entrance is a cul de sac.

Just wondering if there are any planning concerns or issues in general in doing that?

Seems to show the site before the build on Google. I've attached a screen shot of the plans.

I don't really know anything about this. But assuming if it's not blocking the 45 meter sightline it's ok?

Would you not just plant some hedging and get rid of that pointless strip of grass?

You'll need to leave the manhole accessible though, so I'd start just after the manhole.

Well another issue now is that kids keep running up the wall due to the way it's staggered in height, they are able to get all the way to garden wall.

So we are looking into putting a metal trellis or similar as well as hedging/ some climber type plants

Is it to the front or rear of the house?

If you want to put up anything higher than/that exceeds 1.2 metres over ground level to the front, then planning permission required.

Whereas, if you planted (hedge or similar) planning permission not required.
