Stock issues with Huawei gear?

Hey folks, A friend is waiting on an installer to start their solar PV install but waiting on Huawei inverter and battery for a while now. i tried to ring around a few places but just sounded like a general shortage with no idea of when more will be in. Anyone know anything specific?
